I made this about two months ago in school.. Just for kicks. :) It was part of my portfolio for some of the schools I applied to.

This isn't a perfect photo, but I really love this piece and I wanted to upload a photo of it on here sometime.. so here it is! :aww:



ps. ..This took so long. o_o The little feathers on each of the birds and the border took so, so long.. And I was starting to feel a little funny after using the sharpie for such long periods. :P

pps. I still do 'traditional' work and this is proof..! ( I just can't easily upload any pictures/scans of them. D: )

Wow, this is an amazing, like seriously. Did you like look at something and draw it or did this come from your head, because regardless, it's still really awesome. I adore it^_^

Well, I made a light pencil sketch of the piece (their poses, the border, their wings) first. Then I just started going over it with sharpie. ^^

But I don't draw birds a lot, so I did look up some pictures online before I started, only to get an idea of the patterns on their heads/bodies and small-bird anatomy. :) =P
